ABOUT ME

Karamokoh B. Wurie was born in Free Town, Sierra Leone, West Africa. After surviving a lot of hardship and a devastating civil war in Sierra Leone where he almost lost his life. Karamokoh Wurie moved to the United States in December 1999. He lived in Alexandria, Virginia. He attended 6th grade at Bucknell Elementary school, Middle School at Carl Sandburg and high school at West Potomac High school. Karamokoh B. Wurie attended about a year of college at the Virginia Common Wealth University. Karamokoh later enlisted into the US army. His assignments includes the 36th Engineer Brigade, 20th Engineer Battalion, 510th Clearance Company in Fort Hood, Texas. The 214th Aviation Battalion in Wiesbaden, Germany. 16th Military Police Brigade, 83rd Civil Affairs Battalion in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The 65th Medical Brigade, 568th Medical Ground Ambulance in Camp Humphreys in South Korea. Karamokoh B. Wurie deployed twice in Afghanistan in support of "Operation Enduring Freedom."
